The Blat Says
The Blat has learnt that Brown and Mandy were involved in a near fist fight yesterday evening after revelations disclosed in a Sunday paper around Mandy's thoughts on Browns character. Our insider tells the Blat that Brown so outraged at these disclosures he turned on his wife, Sara, and reduced her to tears, which is why she was not at the East London comedy review, or activists briefing as it was described.
For her part, Mandy, has kept a low profile today. "He's better off out of it right now" said our source, "The Fat Boy is spitting blood over this."
Later today backbenchers will decide Gordons fate, and from what the Blat can understand it's not looking good. That however will not deter Brown from staying on, Our source said that in his rantings yesterday he told Mandy, "Not you, not any of those two faced bastards who resigned, not the party, not even the F*****g Queen is going to tell me when to go. I'm the man for the job, I'm the person who's going to stay here to the bitter end, sink or swim." Verging on the lunatic is The Blats view..
Meanwhile over at Castle Cameron, Dave was busy celebrating the combination of local council election and EU results. The Blat understands over two dozen bottles of Bollinger were deliverd to the Cameron residence along with caviar and smoked salmon. Invited guests were wined and dined at this elaborate celebration of true blue tory-ism. Dave was overheard to say, "Lets hope Gordon can hang on in there, he's doing more for us than anything we could put up"..
